Leipzig is the venue for the DSAG Annual Congress this year. From October 15 to 17, 2024, the SAP community will meet at the Leipzig Exhibition Center to discuss current topics and trends in the SAP world. The motto of the DSAG Annual Congress 2024 is “Triad of the future: Users, SAP and partners as drivers of transformation”.
What’s behind this motto? Successful interaction between SAP, partners and user companies is essential if the digital transformation is to succeed. Everyone must play their part. SAP needs to communicate a future-oriented product and service strategy transparently and implement it consistently – with value-adding solutions, flexible operating models and innovative processes. With numerous SAP products reaching their end of maintenance in 2027, companies also expect viable migration scenarios that allow them to switch to alternative solutions.
SAP partners have the task of providing the best possible support for companies’ current and future transformation projects with their industry, process and technology expertise. In turn, DSAG believes that users have a duty to abandon their reticence with regard to digital business transformation, to embrace new technologies and optimized processes and to use SAP innovations to increase their own competitiveness and position their company for the future.

Companies can hardly avoid artificial intelligence (AI) if they want to position themselves for the future with the help of pioneering technologies. Many companies are currently facing the challenge of identifying suitable use cases for AI and integrating them into their processes. The lecture “AI-supported business transformation for processes and data” by IBsolution presents two use cases that show how AI can already simplify daily tasks in companies today.
The first use case is about an AI-supported migration of data from old systems to new systems using the example of SAP BW and SAP Datasphere. The second use case is designed for controlling and demonstrates the automated variance analysis with suggestion system in a profit and loss statement – integrated into SAP Analytics Cloud. The lecture will take place on October 16 from 17:45 to 18:30 in room E, CCL.
The DSAG Annual Congress is the most important get-together for SAP user companies in German-speaking countries and acts as a platform for orientation, exchange of experience and networking. Around 5,000 participants are expected at this year’s event in Leipzig. In addition to keynote speeches by DSAG and SAP, themed sessions, partner presentations and expert and influencing sessions are also an integral part of the agenda. Visitors can find out about the latest trends in the SAP ecosystem at the partner exhibition with around 175 companies.
