NORDMILCH AG is Germany's largest dairy company, processing 4.1 billion kilograms of milk a year and offering a wide range of products. For years, the company has maintained its position in a difficult market environment. Brands such as MILRAM and OLDENBURGER are successful in Germany and internationally. With the AGIMENDO.edit add-on for SAP NetWeaver BW, NORDMILCH can maintain its master data more easily.

The departments now edit all characteristics and attributes themselves - even if they do not originate in SAP ERP. To do this, the employees neither need extensive IT knowledge nor do they have to access the system backend via the SAP user interface. Unlike in the past, clerks and managers no longer have to apply for many changes. This speeds up processes in the departments and relieves IT of time-consuming routine tasks. Users can create new records and change existing data via an easy-to-use, web-based interface. The view can be easily adapted to the task at hand: Key users can combine the displayed characteristics and attributes of an info object as they wish and make them available to their colleagues for data maintenance. Individual access rights ensure that staff only see the content they need for their work.

Reliably maintain master data

With convenient search and filter functions, even large quantities of master data can be processed quickly in SAP NetWeaver BW. However, the solution not only makes it easier to enter new values, but also to adjust them subsequently during operation. Furthermore, planning objects can be created for NORDMILCH products that are still under development. This is where the various AGIMENDO solutions from IBsolution interlock. For example, the sales department can use AGIMENDO.process to carry out its sales planning, taking into account the new articles even before they are launched on the market. The innovative software for master data maintenance quickly convinced NORDMILCH - also thanks to the short implementation time. The application was ready for use within one day. Finance Manager Thomas Döscher sums it up: "Our IT department can concentrate on the big projects again. In addition, we have up-to-date master records at all times."
