Promoting work-life balance is one of the key characteristics of attractive employers. Especially in times of a shortage of skilled workers, work-life balance is a powerful argument for attracting and retaining employees. Among other things, flexible working time models make a valuable contribution to this. The F.A.Z. Institute and the IMWF Institute for Management and Economic Research have awarded IBsolution for its efforts to reconcile family and career. The Heilbronn-based SAP consultancy was ranked among the top 4 companies in the “IT consultants” sector.
“We are delighted with the award and are proud to have achieved such a great result in the study,” says Manuela Eggensperger, Head of HR at IBsolution. “Our committed and motivated employees are the decisive factor for the success of our company. By considering their individual circumstances in the best possible way, we create a working environment in which they can develop to their full potential.”
The study “Compatibility of work and family 2023” is based on comprehensive social listening, in which data on the dimensions of employer, working atmosphere and family friendliness were collected and analyzed. Each of the dimensions considered was included in the final result to a certain extent – the employer and work atmosphere areas accounted for 25% each and the family-friendliness area for 50%.
The social listening was evaluated in two stages: first, all texts with the relevant search terms from more than 100 million online sources were recorded. The second step involved the fragmentation and in-depth analysis of the collected data using artificial intelligence. In this way, around two million mentions of around 20,000 companies were identified and matched in the study period from September 2021 to September 2023.
The award recognizes companies that actively promote a better compatibility of work and family life and support this with appropriate measures and offerings. For employees and job applicants who attach importance to family-friendliness when choosing their employer, the results provide valuable guidance as to which companies are particularly committed to the work-life balance of their employees.
