In the age of digitalization, IT plays an important role in almost all fields of work and industries. For applicants, choosing the right apprenticing company is definitely a challenge in view of the large number of potential employers in the IT sector. For this reason, the trade magazine CHIP, together with the data analysis specialist Globis Consulting, has determined the best apprenticing companies for IT professions in a ranking. The Heilbronn-based SAP consulting company IBsolution is ranked among the best IT apprenticing companies in the IT consulting sector and was awarded the “TOP Apprenticing Company for IT Jobs 2022” seal for its efforts.
“At IBsolution, we attach great importance to providing young people with excellent training and creating long-term career prospects for them in our company,” says Manuela Eggensperger, HR Manager at IBsolution. “With the award from the trade magazine CHIP, we see our claim to be both a high-quality apprenticing company for future specialists and an attractive employer for experienced professionals confirmed.”
The award as a TOP IT apprenticing company offers interested individuals reliable, credible guidance in their search for a suitable apprenticeship position in the IT sector. IBsolution achieved excellent results across all categories in the underlying evaluation matrix and was able to clearly set itself apart from the competition.
As part of their comprehensive investigation, CHIP and Globis Consulting first used defined minimum standards to identify just under 400 employers from around 3,000 companies with a need for IT specialists who offer IT training. These were then analyzed in detail with regard to various criteria in the dimensions of IT apprentice applicant management, transparency and IT apprentice evaluations.
For example, it was examined whether the companies have a structured process with clear statements and decisions when handling specific applications for IT apprenticeships. In assessing the companies’ career pages, the main focus was on how high their information content and informative value are with a focus on the area of apprenticeships and whether they convey transparent content to IT apprentices. In addition, the assessments of IT apprentices on employer rating platforms such as Kununu were included in the results. The individual criteria were then weighted and compiled into a meaningful overall result for each company.
