“Innovations around SAP Business Warehouse 7.3 and BusinessObjects 4.0” – that was the title of the first webinar of IBsolution, which was broadcasted online on May 23rd, 2011. 135 people had registered for the premiere. As speakers, managing director Loren Heilig and solution architect Martin Nußbaumer welcomed the participants. By the way, both of them still regularly appear as speakers in the webinars today.
With the first webinar, IBsolution had created an innovative, free-of-charge format with which interested parties can inform themselves about current developments and future trends in the SAP world. About nine and a half years later a special anniversary is coming up: The webinar “SAP BW/4HANA − Let's go: Migrate in portions now” on December 10, 2020 is the 500th webinar in the history of IBsolution. There have been almost 18,000 registrations in total for the online sessions since 2011.
The webinars are an important part of the IBacademy, the education program of IBsolution, and offer a compressed and structured insight into current SAP topics. The speakers explain possible use cases on the basis of practical examples and live demos. Thus they support companies in their internal decision making.
Thanks to the interactive character of the webinars, participants have the opportunity to ask questions, which the speaker answers directly in the session. Under the conditions of the year 2020 the webinars of IBsolution have proven their value once again. The Corona pandemic has temporarily brought attendance events to a complete standstill.
