SAP CONNECT is the largest SAP partner event in the German-speaking world. On November 12 and 13, 2019, around 1,500 SAP partners used this event as an exclusive networking platform. IBsolution GmbH contributed its expertise to the event several times.
Under the motto “The Power of Experience”, the participants exchanged views on technologies, strategies and best practices in the SAP environment. The focus was on how the intelligent enterprise becomes reality and how SAP partners can best support their customers in digital transformation.
IBsolution shows presence in Berlin
IBsolution co-designed the program of the CONNECT 2019 in several ways: In the context of the keynote “Innovation for the intelligent enterprise: The Next Generation Business DNA”, Managing Director Loren Heilig presented how Fiege, one of the leading logistics providers in Europe, carried out a comprehensive master data cleansing with the support of IBsolution, thus creating an important prerequisite for the company's SAP S/4HANA migration.
In addition, Loren Heilig and Marko Mund, Vice President Partner Enablement, SAP S4/HANA SAP Cloud Platform Enablement, led the expert session “Extending the ‘digital core’ with application innovations” at CONNECT 2019. IBsolution presented its successful SECMENDO product range in the Experience Mall, where visitors could learn about intelligent technologies and solutions. The various add-ons, for example for reports, monitoring or self services, make managing authorizations with SAP Identity Management faster, easier and more secure. With its extensive presence at CONNECT 2019, IBsolution once again underlined its status as an established SAP partner.
Partnership leads to success
During the two days in Berlin, the importance of a strong community in the age of the Experience Economy was repeatedly emphasized. Only if SAP and its partners, but also the partners themselves, work together will it be possible to make SAP customers successful and to master the challenges of digitization.
The participants at CONNECT 2019 were able to experience first-hand just how much experiences are now influencing the business world: With its eventful past - once a place of heat generation, then legendary Technoclub, now a spectacular event location - the power plant in Berlin-Mitte provided an extraordinary setting for the most important SAP partner event of the year.
