With SAP MDG 9.1 the German supplier of ERP Software introduced a reworked version of its business partner model within the appropriate solution – A functionality, that is mandatory for the deployment of S/4HANA, SAP’s new business suite. The latest business partner model will most likely establish a new standard for S/4HANA version 1809 or higher.
Major benefits are a simplified way to maintain specific addresses as well as roles for each business partner. The object combines both supplier and customer in one single entity, thus simplifying reporting and master data management processes such as the creation and modification of both creditors and debtors.
